Anyone drink red wine for the many health benefits? 𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗲 and I learned something today about one of the key ingredients in red wine that makes it beneficial for our health. "Since 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙡 isn't an essential nutrient, no required amount exists. Animal studies suggest as much as 500 mg daily may be necessary to provide any health benefits. Red wine contains at most 12.59 mg resveratrol p͟e͟r͟ ͟l͟i͟t͟e͟r͟, so to get 500 mg daily, 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝟰𝟬 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆. A 40 mg daily dose of resveratrol may also have some benefits, showed a study published in the "Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism" in June 2010. 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙞𝙛 𝙖 40 𝙢𝙜 𝙙𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙙𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙪𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙮𝙤𝙪'𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 3 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙪𝙘𝙝 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙡." 𝗢𝗡𝗘 of my trusty supplements 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝟱𝟬𝗺𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹...so this is a great thing for us! I certainly would not and could not drink over 3 liters of wine a day...so I am grateful for this trusty little guy each day! If you want the benefits of more resveratrol too I’d be happy to help you to get this trust guy in your hand and your body each day! *extra benefits of the trusty supplement I am holding in my hand (that I take daily for many years):
What are the benefits of resveratrol and is it really as beneficial as we think? Well, there is no shortage of information today about pros and cons to virtually everything. So with anything online, be sure to find reputable and reliable information sources. I've found some great info about Resveratrol and this will include some of these reliable sources for you to review in more depth if you wish. Free radical Damage: Today, resveratrol is believed to be one of the most potent polyphenols and strongest protectors against symptoms associated with aging and free radical damage. Anti-Aging and Anti-Cancer Effects: Consuming plant foods high in antioxidants and phytonutrients has been shown to offer antioxidative, anticarcinogenic and antitumor benefits that protect adults from many age-related diseases. (2) Protects Cardiovascular Health: resveratrol has been shown to offer protection against atherosclerosis (thickening of the arteries that cuts off blood flow), high LDL “bad cholesterol,” formation of blood clots and myocardial infraction. As you do your own research about this powerful antioxidant, you will soon find out that there are many other health benefits. Dr Mercola writes: What Makes Resveratrol a Unique Antioxidant Resveratrol is unique among antioxidants because it can cross the blood-brain barrier to help protect your brain and nervous system, and studies show that its benefits are wide reaching, including: Protecting your cells from free radical damage Inhibiting the spread of cancer, especially prostate cancer
Already, animal studies have shown that resveratrol helped overweight mice run farther and live about 20 percent longer. It has even been found to increase the lifespan of human cells. Resveratrol also seems to produce many similar benefits as exercise, and I suspect it would be a powerful addition to exercise. I personally take resveratrol because of this belief. *see Dr. Mercola's full article here Several clinical studies have been done and while there is still a lot to learn, these studies show the potential of this powerhouse antioxidant...and as a personal preference, I will not go a day without it...taking one of these trusty helpers is easy, safe and gives me some peace of mind...it just may be something I begin to take more often than once a day.
